TRANSPOL Company Limited was created in 1995. At the beginning, the company’s activity mainly involved wholesale trade of building materials and cement export to Germany.

Due to a crash in building line and a major drop in turnover, the company’s activity was suspended in 1998. The activity was resumed only in 1999 and the line of business was changed into transport. Initially, the company was engaged in domestic transport, yet it shortly expanded its activity to international transport and manufacture of palette elements for export purposes to Spain.

In 2005 the company purchased an alcohol distillery in Żmudź and in this way expanded further to manufacturing of ethyl alcohol. At present, the company manufactures ethyl alcohol in four distilleries (in Żmudź, Stara Wieś, Samoklęski and Ratoszyn). The output capacity of the four distilleries is about 1 mln. litres a month
